Young Stars AD Competition


其主要目的是挖掘世界各国年轻有才的创意者,并培养为国际性广告人才。

在釜山国际广告节活动期间即进行为期四天的比赛,主要以夏令营的方式进行, 参赛选手需在两天内完成大会指定主题的作品。

提交的作品将由全球在职专业广告人组成的评审团秉承公平、

公正的原则进行评审。

铜奖以上获奖者,若符合公司相应条件,均可获得国内、外知名公司实习机会。

Creative Director

Josie Burns is a Creative Director at Host/Havas.

Starting out as a copywriter and producer in talk radio, Josie soon found herself working in policy and communications for government before making the leap to advertising,

After completing AWARD School in Brisbane, she worked as a copywriter at Junior in Brisbane and DDB Sydney. In 2015, she moved to Host/Havas, where she now works as a Creative Director.
She’s worked on brands including Audi, James Squire, McDonald’s, Johnson & Johnson, Wrigley's, Tooheys, Air New Zealand, Expedia and Arnott’s.

Cultivating and celebrating creativity in advertising is important to her. She’s judged AWARD Awards, mentored young creative talent through the I-Manifest program, was a finalist in the B&T Women in Media Awards and in 2018, was appointed as a member of AWARD Committee member and national co-head of AWARD School.

Building brands and creating brand legends is what Kumuda believes her raison d'êtrein advertising is. And that’s what she’s done over the last couple of decades.

From Mudra DDB, to Ogilvy, Y&R and Leo Burnett, she has worked on almost every cate¬¬gory for mega clients such as P&G, Colgate, General Mills, Fiat, Heinz and Amazon across the Asia-Pacific region. 

Her iconic ‘God’s Own Country’ campaign for Kerala Tourism turned this Indian state into a brand of its own. She launched one of India’s most memorable campaigns for P&G’s Tide. As the Regional and Global Creative Director for Rejoice Shampoo, she developed Effie award-winning communication through music marketing.

She has won nominations and awards both nationally and internationally. She is on the Clio 2019 Jury for Branded Entertainment and Content. She was the President of the Print Jury for the Lisbon Ad Fest. She has directed ad films for the Indian and US market.

She runs a beach hut resorts in Goa and founded a creative platform, Creative Exchange, for freelancers. But her pride and joy remains all the creative people she has mentored. All are now creative leaders – each one building brands and creating brand legends of their own.

Nkanyezi is a Creative Director at King James in Cape Town, working on brands such as Netflix, TymeBank and Pick n Pay.

His career began at TBWA Hunt Lascaris in 2002 as a Copywriter. When he discovered that creativity has no cultural boundaries, he decided to take his talents to TBWA Hong Kong in 2007. And immediately got the once-in-a-life-time chance of working on adidas for the Beijing Olympics.

His work has been recognised multiple times at Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Epicas, LIAs, New York Festivals and Webbys. In South Africa, he’s won countless Loeries and 2 Ad Of The Year awards consecutively, at the Creative Circle.

Nkanyezi has been a jury member at major festivals including Art Director’s Club NY, New York Festivals, Young Guns One Club and Ad Stars in South Korea, where he was also a keynote speaker. In 2018, he was the Chair of Judges at the Perth Advertising and Design Club.

A champion for diversity in the creative field, he co-founded Blackboard, an initiative that aims to raise awareness for creativity as a career to high school students in disadvantaged communities.

Having had the privilege to work with the most talented creative minds in top agencies from around the world, Alfred started his career at Batey Ads and later with Ogilvy, HAVAS, Leo Burnett, Publicis, and McCann Worldgroup. During his 20 years in the industry, he has created many award-winning campaigns for some of the world's influential brands such as Coca-Cola, Guinness, P&G, GSK and RedBull.

As a multi-disciplinary creative; Alfred's work is recognised for its creative excellence and effectiveness in major international and local award shows such as One Show, D&AD, Cannes, Clios, LIAA, Gong Show, EFFIES, Mob-Ex, and MEA. Campaign Brief also ranked him as Singapore's top 10 creative.

Graduated from Hyper Island, Alfred believes in value creation through the power of social engagement for brands, mirroring his role at McCann Worldgroup, and steering McCann's creative direction towards all things digital.

With the hope to inspire and learn from the next generation of creative, he spends time as an adjunct lecturer, and guest speaks at Advertising and Design schools. Most recently Alfred co-chaired the Crowbars Awards - awarding emerging creatives, having judged at major international awards shows such as New York Festival, ADFEST, and the Gong Show.

Design to me means problem solving, to understand elements that make people smile and add colors to their lives. This is what I enjoy, translating ideas in a simple, effective and an inspiring way. 

Using my language, the language of design, I dream and aspire to continuously grow from those around me, achieve what is expected of me and aim higher. To make an impact in my industry that leads to helping others. I thrive off by innovating and creating, representing myself, my audience and my agency.

P.s. My love for shoes has always been so insane that I’ve started painting shoes and made a small insta business out of it. Changing the world one happy feet at a time!

After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, Daiji spent his early 20s traveling around Asia, Europe, United States, and Australia. 

After he came back from his journey, he joined Tohokushinsha Film Corporation (TFC). He has been working as Executive Producer since 1998, from there experienced many roles through his career. Starting his career from TFC, he became one of the start-up members to found sister company called Thermal, a boutique production. Then he became one of the managements of sister company called Lift. 
He produces not only commercial, but also interactive contents and feature films.
